The standard universal mount hitch makes attachment quick and easy. Replaceable, heat-treated, updraft blades on a heavy-duty pan blade carrier provide a clean 72" wide cut of material up to 2" in diameter. Baffling under the deck directs cut material out the left side of the mower, away from the skid steer. Optional replaceable front-mounted skid shoes and gauge wheel help prevent the mower from bottoming out. The floating hitch design allows the unit to follow uneven ground better than "rigid hitch" design mowers. The SM72 utilizes a 110 HP mechanical gearbox to provide increased torque and blade tip speed for a cleaner cut. A hydraulic relief valve in the drive motor provides overload protection for greater dependability. The standard lift limit chain, when installed properly, helps prevent the mower head from being raised above 18" for safety. A front chain guard and rear rubber safety deflector and double chain guard are standard to help minimize the risk of thrown objects.
