The new Porto-Screed from Stow requires only one operator, improving efficiency and increasing productivity on the job site. A 4-HP Honda gasoline engine powers Stow's Porto-Screed and the unit delivers 4,300 vibrations per minute. The Porto-Screed's top vibrating speed and amplitude let your pour and strike-off a stiffer mix. The vibrating action brings fine aggregate to the surface withoutthe headache and scars of "sawing" thus enabling the operator to get off the pour quicker.
The 75-pound Porto-Screed is suitable for both jobs such as sidewalks, driveways and other smaller jobs and its vibrating action and rubber mounts minimize vibration helping to take the backache out of screeding. The unit is designed to take twin beam lengths of 2-by-4s up to 16 feet. Other standard features on the Stow Porto-Screed include an enclosed belt guard enhancing safety, an all-steel frame, recoil starter and centrifugal clutch to accelerate starting and running, and finger-tip throttle control for fast and easy power selection.
